Transmissibility and DPMI analysis of the seated posture of Human under Low frequency vibration

چکیده
Humans are more sensitive to whole Body Vibration under low frequency range. Under this frequency range human feels more discomfort. Due to this reason more research is going on from more number of years in low frequency range. As a part of research biodynamic models are prepared to number of degrees of freedom and these results are compared with the experimental data. In the present study, the authors prepared a 5 DOF biodynamic model of the human body in a sitting posture without backrest under sinusoidal excitation to determine the dynamic response characteristics such as Driving point mechanical impedance (DPMI) which describes the “tothe–body “force-motion relationship at the seat to human interference and Transmissibility function describes the “through–the-body” vibration transmission properties. As a part of this study analytical transmissibility data is validated with the experimental data. The resonant frequencies of the human subjects computed on the basis of Transmissibility function are found to be within close to that of the expected for the human body.

A biomechanical modeling of an automotive passenger body to investigate the vertical vibration in various road profiles using transmissibility analysis
In the current paper, a biomechanical model of human body with unique structure is developed for evaluating the biodynamic responses, the vibration transmissibility and the transmitted accelerations to vertical vibration for the seated position with ignoring backrest support. In this regard, the 6-DoF Lumped-parameter model with six concentrated masses which are connected with linear springs an...

In this study, the effect of posture, vibration magnitude and frequency on seat-to-head (STH) and back support-tohead (BTH) transfer functions has been studied under vertical sinusoidal vibration. Twelve healthy male subjects were participated in experimental work to measure vertical vibration transmitted to the occupants head in three representative postures (erect, vertical back on and forwar...

The biodynamic responses of the hand-arm system under x(h)-axis vibration are investigated in terms of the driving point mechanical impedance (DPMI) and absorbed power in a laboratory study. For this purpose, seven healthy male subjects are exposed to two levels of random vibration in the 8-1,000 Hz frequency range, using three instrumented cylindrical handles of different diameters (30, 40 and...

In the present work, the biodynamic response behavior of seated human body subject to vibration in vertical direction have been extensively examined. The biodynamic response parameter of seated human body have been analyzed in terms of apparent masss (AM).The AM describe “to –the -body”force motion relationship at the interface of huma and seat. The present work proposed the six degrees of free...
متن کاملCharacterization of the frequency and muscle responses of the lumbar and thoracic spines of seated volunteers during sinusoidal whole body vibration.
Whole body vibration has been postulated to contribute to the onset of back pain. However, little is known about the relationship between vibration exposure, the biomechanical response, and the physiological responses of the seated human. The aim of this study was to measure the frequency and corresponding muscle responses of seated male volunteers during whole body vibration exposures along th...
